  3. Is it possible that the dam will be opened till the end of 2014 year? Or we may be sure that Hasankeif will be alive till 2015?

  4. There are no certainties at the moment, Ori. The dam construction is scheduled to be completed by mid-2014 and the reservoir will take an estimated two years to fill after that, but no timetable has been announced for relocating people out of Hasankeyf. Come visit as soon as you can!

  10. What about that proposal:
    Cover everything with big plastic or other material dome, or some smaller domes in order to keep it save from water, with some robots wirh webcams inside for virtual visits and maybe in the future organize visits accessing inside with snorkeling. Sound crazy isnt it? But its all about money!! Hello from barcelona!
